Connections: When to Help

  • Founders First System (map)

Founders First recently shared the results of our "When to Help" campaign. The objective of "When to Help" is to collect and share stories from entrepreneurs about their experience as founders, times at which they felt they were heading into a personal crisis, and when they wished they had gotten help along the way. In sharing these stories, we're hoping that others will have a deeper understanding of the challenges of the entrepreneurial journey.

As a way to broaden our impact, we thought we'd pose the topic to our Community members as a Connections event.

Questions to Consider:

  1. Have you experienced a personal crisis during your entrepreneurial journey?

  2. If so, what impact did your personal crisis have on you, your business, your team, and your relationships?

  3. Looking back, what were the signs that you were heading for a crisis?

  4. What types of help, encouragement or support might have made your journey easier, and may have kept you from reaching a crisis point?
